Dive into the complexities of DNA and chromosomes! Learn about classic Mendelian genetics, and trace a series of experiments done by monks studying genetics in the 19th century. Students will begin learning about complex inheritance patterns and analyze multigenerational pedigrees to determine patterns of inheritance. Students will learn about genetics on a broader scale -- mutations and the evolution of mankind.
